HOW BTCRADAR WORKS
Scoring + dashboard guideBTCRadar compares five short-term BTC indicators: EMA trend, VWAP position, Bollinger Band position, Stoch RSI, and 5-minute momentum. Each indicator can register bullish, bearish, or neutral. The displayed score shows net indicator alignment, not win probability.
More indicators are supporting upward momentum or price strength.
More indicators are supporting downward momentum or price weakness.
The indicators are not aligned enough to show a clear directional read.
Example: 4 bearish, 0 bullish, 1 neutral = 4/5 bearish alignment.
Example: 2 bullish, 1 bearish, 2 neutral = 1/5 mixed/wait.
FAQ
Quick answersWhat does the score mean?
The score shows net indicator alignment across the five indicators. A higher score means more indicators are pointing in the same direction. It is not a win probability.
Is BTCRadar financial advice?
No. BTCRadar is an experimental market-awareness dashboard. It is not financial advice, not a trade recommendation, and not a guarantee of outcome.
How often does the dashboard update?
The backend checks live BTC-USD data about every 30 seconds. The page refreshes its signal display automatically while it is open.
What data source does it use?
BTCRadar currently uses live Coinbase BTC-USD market data and recent one-minute candle data to calculate its indicator snapshot.
Why does the time match my timezone?
The server writes a UTC timestamp, and your browser converts it into your local time. That means different visitors may see different local update times for the same signal.
Does BTCRadar use analytics?
Yes. BTCRadar uses basic analytics to understand site traffic and improve the dashboard. No account signup is required to use the site.
